Chemicals for Extractors and Wet Vacuums
Products used in an extractor or wet vacuum need to be low-foam — otherwise foam can damage the motor or reduce suction power. Regular hand-application shampoos aren't suitable for this equipment.
How to choose a product
- Choose a dedicated low-foam shampoo made for extractors
- Keep a defoamer on hand in case of excess foaming
- Follow the manufacturer's stated dilution ratio to avoid damaging the equipment
