What's included in a deep apartment clean

"General cleaning" can mean a slightly different checklist depending on who you ask. Here's exactly what's included in our general cleaning service, room by room, so you know what to expect before booking.

Kitchen

Cleaning the inside of the oven and microwave, wiping the fridge's exterior and interior surfaces (without moving groceries unless agreed in advance), cleaning cabinet fronts, removing grease between tiles and panels, and clearing limescale from the faucet and sink.

Bathroom and toilet

Removing limescale from tiles and glass partitions, disinfecting fixtures, polishing mirrors and metal fittings, and wiping doors and light switches.

Bedrooms and living room

Clearing dust behind and under furniture, washing windows and frames, cleaning the space behind radiators, wiping doors, switches and the top of wardrobes, and a thorough floor treatment.

What's usually not included

A general clean doesn't automatically include upholstery dry-cleaning, exterior window washing in multi-story buildings (for safety reasons), or moving large/bulky items. These can be booked separately or alongside the cleaning.

How long it takes

Duration depends on the apartment's size, number of rooms, and current condition — for an average apartment it's typically a few hours with a one- or two-person team. The exact time is confirmed after we review your request.
